big sur hotel guide
The last couple days, Nick & I got to stay at two very lovely properties during our Big Sur trip. Both had the most wonderful service & felt so cozy & luxurious. We loved our time there! If you're looking for two super unique places to stay in Big Sur, these are my first recommendations.
The first night we were at Glen Oaks Big Sur in the "Big Sur Cabin"! I linked directly to the cabin we were in. I got so many questions on Instagram about the space, probably having a lot to do with the amazing outdoor hot tubs. There are more photos of the space linked above, on their site! Here's my IG post from it –
The second place we stayed was L'Auberge Carmel! It was a gorgeous space & we had the BEST breakfast. Those photos are a few scrolls down :)
The below photos are from their restaurant, The Big Sur Roadhouse – we had a caesar salad & the shrimp louie. So good!
Here are some photos from L'Auberge Carmel! How pretty is the space?!
Other spots to check out in Big Sur include McWay Falls, Bixby Bridge & Pfieffer State Park. We liked El Vecchio in Monterey for Italian, A.W. Shucks in Carmel for oysters & Revival in Carmel for ice cream!
